Everyone loves a gameboy

It's hard to believe that it's been over 30 years since the Gameboy first hit the market. Back in the day, this little handheld console was a game-changer (pun intended). Suddenly, you could play your favourite games on the go, whether you were waiting for the bus or stuck in a long car ride.

But let's be real, the Gameboy wasn't exactly the most high-tech device. It had a monochrome screen, chunky buttons, and a screen that was almost impossible to see in direct sunlight. Oh, and don't even get us started on the batteries. It seemed like you were constantly replacing them, or lugging around a giant pack just to keep the thing running.

But despite its flaws, the Gameboy was a beloved device. It introduced us to classic games like Tetris, Pokemon, and Mario, and it was a hit with kids and adults alike.

And let's not forget the iconic design of the Gameboy. It was bulky, had a sickly green hue, and was about the size of a small brick. But somehow, it was still cool. It was like a badge of honor to be seen walking around with a Gameboy in hand.

Of course, these days, handheld gaming has come a long way. We have devices with high-resolution screens, intuitive controls, and long battery life. But there will always be a special place in our hearts for the original Gameboy. It may not have been the most advanced piece of technology, but it was a true pioneer in the world of gaming.

So here's to you, Gameboy. You may be old and outdated, but you'll always be remembered as the little console that could.
